Our popular Dolphin Gala will be held on Sunday 28th June 2026 at Gosforth Pool from 1 -3 pm.

1 length swims of each stroke available to swim for all swimmers aged 12/under on 28th June. Medals 1-3 in each age group and a competitors medal for every participant. All medals presented at the end of the competition.

Gosforth Pool does not allow anyone poolside before 1pm – we would kindly ask that swimmers do not attend before 12.45. Parents/carers are not allowed poolside unless in an emergency in line with Swim England’s Child Protection Policies, Newcastle staff will be on poolside to direct your children to their seating area. Swimmers should not come onto poolside with outdoor shoes on.
Spectators on the day are £2.50 on the door, cash preferred
There is limited space on the balcony at Gosforth Pool and we would kindly ask that spectators are limited to a maximum of 2 people per swimmer which includes children who are spectating (not competitors), ie 2 adults or 1 adult, 1 child. Please be aware we have a NO PHOTOGRAPHY policy, which includes both still and video on mobile phones.
