County Qualifier Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th January 2026 – Tynemouth Pool
I hope everyone is looking forward to our gala at the weekend. We will be running an early warm up to accommodate all swimmers and will be starting at 7.45am both days. The gala is very busy and whilst parking at the centre is free and no charges will be in place for the weekend, please be aware if you park on a double yellow line or in a disabled bay with no badge visible you may receive a parking fine. Parking is also available in the Morrisons car park opposite the pool but please observe any parking restrictions.
Spectator entry is £15 for a weekend pass, £8 for a day pass, £5 for a session pass. Cash is preferred but we do have facilities for payment by card.
Warm up Times:
Saturday 10th January Session 1 – 7.45 am
Saturday 10th January Session 2 – 12.55pm
Sunday 11th January Session 3 – 7.45 am
Sunday 11th January Session 4 – 12.55pm
The gala is very busy and we would appreciate if the following could be observed:
- Doors will open at 7.30am for swimmers and spectators both days
- Please ensure your swimmer removes outdoor shoes before coming poolside
- As per Swim England guidelines, mobile phones should not be used in the changing areas
- No parents/guardians should be in the changing areas or poolside except in the case of an emergency
- Swimmers should not be on the balcony in wet clothing/without shoes
